iPod on international flight

iPod on international flight?
Hey all! I haven't flown in over 10 years and a friend an I are leaving tomorrow afternoon for Greece. We're flying from San Antonio to Switzerland, to Greece. I've seen some websites saying that iPods are banned from planes in Europe. I haven't been able to find a clear answer on this. Will I be able to take my iPod on the plane to and from Greece?

i think yes. why not.

laptops and portable gaming devices ARE alowed along with other portable music devices. I do not see how an Ipod would be an exception. just make sure that you can charge it. you can buy a USB wall charger for European outlets all over the internet or just in Europe itself.

Yes you should be able to bring it. It doesnt send out signals or receive them, so it's under the same regulations as say a gameboy or PSP or even a laptop. You will have to turn everything off during takeoff and while landing, and they'll let you know when you can switch things on and/or off.

Yes, you can take your iPod with you onboard with your hand luggage. It's still liquids (toothpaste, deoderant, shampoo, etc.) that are being strictly limited onboard. I checked Frankfurt airports website (one of the largest airports in Europe) out for baggage information and there are no restrictions for iPods, Blackberries, etc. Here's their website: http://www.airportcity-frankfurt.com/cms/default/rubrik/9/9828.baggage_control.htm Cheers, Petra M, Vancouver

Nature Shows on airplanes

Nature Shows on airplanes?
I was talking to someone on a flight from Tampa to San Antonio and she told me she was on a flight that she actually saw a double rainbow above the clouds. Has anyone else seen this or was this the result of another double she may have consumed? I've seen a lightening storm at night that was unbelivable to watch.

Perfectly safe!

During 2ed trimester I was told that it is okay to travel. =]
3 :
I am 28 weeks pregnant and just flew home (about 75 minute flight) for the weekend. No problems!! Just drink plenty of water. :)
4 :
It's fine at 27 weeks. After 30 weeks, that's when the airline will refuse to let a woman on board because the pressure change can lead to pre-term labor.

nothing to worry.enjoy ur travel with safe

Don't take the risk, I'd like to say go and enjoy yourself but you have the rest of your life to do this, your baby might not be able to take the pressure. I only state this as my friend lost her baby at 6 months, not that this will happen to you. It's your choice, go with your gut feelings.
