Light snow should not affect your flight that much. At most they may de-ice the plane.
2 :
It takes a lot of snow to delay an airport 20+ min plus. They will run slower to the runway, and they will de-ice the aircraft for your safety. Hope this helps!
3 :
was 1/2 hour late out of Dallas this morning due to de-icing.

If they get snow, it wont be an issue. What does cause issues is if your flying into an airport that does have weather- currently the east coast has a lot of rain which is causing some delays- that could be an issue but I wouldnt worry about it much (or if a major airport is delayed- that causes backlogs and sometimes delays flights even in a city that is sunny because maybe your airplane was delayed in that city leaving etc). Just check before you head to the airport click on your airlines check status link and type your flight number in to verify its on time.

Is snow common for SAT? If it is, the airline should be very well prepared. I live in a snow area and it takes approximately 5-7 minutes to deice. And since we deice every morning typically in the winter, our crew is very experienced with this and we usually try to board and push early to keep the aircraft on time. If SAT is not experienced with a lot of snow or deicing experiences, it might take them a little bit longer. I wouldn't worry too much over it all.

Is is smart to book flight today for $543.80 -- round trip from San Antonio, TX to Las Vegas, NV

Is is smart to book flight today for $543.80 -- round trip from San Antonio, TX to Las Vegas, NV?
Me and my boyfriend are leaving to Vegas September 10th - September 13th. (Thursday - Sunday) Yesterday I looked at Southwest Airlines to see how much the flights would be (round trip tickets) and it $738.00 for both of us. I looked again today and it was only $543.80. Should I buy these tickets or should I wait to see if the price goes down closer to September? ***I just don't want to pass up a good deal, but I have never flown before so I am not sure whether to buy these tickets or not. ALSO -- Friday I had checked the rates at Southwest.com and it was $1033, so far the prices have decreased. But will they get lower? HELP ME PLEASE!

Yea I just did a quick search for you and it looks like 277/per person is the best you're going to get. I would probably book that if I were you, they don't generally get too much lower.
2 :
Get them!! That is very cheap, and if they go down you can get the difference as a southwest credit. If they go down you rebook and get the 100 dollars as a credit so you cannot go wrong with buying them today.

i would search for another week, and more sites... there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://bookme.com/ and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

What is the cheapest way to get from San Antonio to Austin

What is the cheapest way to get from San Antonio to Austin?
Flights are about $80 cheaper for me to go to San Antonio, so if I could get to Austin roundtrip for under $30 I'd probably do it.

It is 80 miles. That's about 6 gallons of gas for the round trip. That'd be what, 15-16 dollars? Austin is 80 miles north of San Antonio. The flight actually takes longer than the drive.
2 :
Greyhound Bus. $20. 90 minutes. The cost of gas is not the whole cost of travel by car. The real cost of auto travel is about 45 cents per mile. A car trip of 80 miles costs about $36.00.
3 :
Besides walking, the cheapest method is driving. The current lowest fuel price for regular gas in San Antonio is $2.06 per gallon. If your car gets an average 22 miles per gallon you would pay 14.83 for the round trip. Now one responder estimates the cost at $0.45 per mile and gives an estimate for driving at $72.00 for the round trip, meaning that there is about $57 in wear and tear on your car. I hope you drive better than a person who puts $57 in wear and tear on their car every 180 miles. Of course that includes the cost of insurance and other costs which your car would have sitting in a parking lot in San Antonio if you didn't take it. If you don't have a car, Greyhound is $38-$44 round trip. Amtrak from San Antonio to Austin is $30 round trip. Flying from San Antonio to Austin is time consuming and difficult.

Drive!
5 :
Definitely car or bus. It will actually take longer to fly than drive because you have to check-in, luggage, go through security, then wait for take-off. Plus when you land you have to get your bags and everything. So whatever you do, the cheapest and fastest way is not by flying.' Good luck! lauren
