Going to San Antonio,TX with work- would like to holiday somewhere else in the states afterwards- where

Going to San Antonio,TX with work- would like to holiday somewhere else in the states afterwards- where?
We are from the UK and I have been to America a few times before but my partener hasn't- he is planning to fly out to meet me after the work part of my trip is finished. Going to the states is a rare opportunity for us so a two stop holiday might be good to make the most of it- I was thinking that going to San Francisco and Las Vegas would be accesible from San Antonio but I am wondering if anyobody has any good suggestions or reccomendations. Obviously it would be easier if we went somewhere within a few hours flight of Texas- we like a balance of sightseeing and relaxing. Any suggestions welcomed!

IĆ¢€™m moving to Provo in Utah County and one of my new roommates told me about a recent demographics study by Market Insights in which they determined Utah County was the most sexually active county in the United States. This intrigued me and I went to this website to read the press release article. With a simple search to look up my new zip code data (84606), I found a wealth of neighborhood statistics on my new home market, including local news, the local price of gas, real estate values, weather, garage sale items, local singles, and more. The best thing I found on this website was a list of free items that people in this zip code wanted to give away. For a poor student like me, I found these market insights to be extremely valuable and I have made my zip code data page my home page

What is the best way to book a flight and car rental

What is the best way to book a flight and car rental?
I'm planning a trip from Los Angeles, CA to San Antonio, TX and I want to make sure I get the best price for airfare and car rental. I will be traveling in early November. I have been shopping around on some internet travel planning sites and it's so overwhelming. I don't know what are the best times to fly or anything.

My husband and I always fly Continental, and we find that the best time to fly is the last flight out and the last flight coming back. (We live in NJ and fly in/out of Newark.) The last flights in and out are usually pretty empty, so we have a great chance of getting a free upgrade plus better service. If you book everything together, you save a little money. I would recommend Orbitz.com. We use it a lot and its very reliable. The best way to get the cheapest rental car rate is to pick up and drop off at the same location. Also, some times renting it out for a whole week is actually cheaper than renting it for just a day or two, so I would suggest going on Hertz.com or Avis.com and playing around with the dates.

southwest should be your cheapest airline, then try dollar rental (economy cars). join any clubs you need to get upgrades/discounts. also, try calling the airlines and ask for recommendations for on-line sales.

contact your travel agent or the airline you wish to take (philippine or american). explain your situation.
2 :
go to the philippine air line at the manila airport and get a ticket there
3 :
you can't get a one-way ticket to San Antonio from Manila. you'll have to take a connecting flight from a major city like LA, San Francisco, or Las Vegas.
4 :
What it most probably means is that there are no direct flights from Manila to San Antonio. The more common scenario is a flight from Manila to LA, then LA to SA.
5 :
Most online travel sites including Orbitz do not support flights coming out of Manila. These sites are only available for searches within the US and select international markets (and Manila is not one of them). For your flight information, you need to go directly to the website of an airline, like PAL or Cathay Pacific. http://www.philippineairlines.com/home/home.jsp http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/homepage If you choose PAL, from Manila, you cannot fly directly to San Antonio. You need to get a ticket bound for San Francisco, Los Angeles or Las Vegas and from there, get a flight to SA. If I'm doing it correctly, I believe Cathay Pacific has a direct flight to San Antonio for a little less than $2,000.
