There's really no way for us to answer that. What city are you leaving from? California is big, and has many airports. If you are leaving from San Diego, you won't care if I tell you about flights from Sacramento. When do you want to go? What does "not too expensive" mean to you? You may have a lot more, or a lot less, money than I have. Try looking on a booking site like kayak.com or orbitz.com and putting in your specific parameters. If you don't care when you go, it will be cheaper to fly in the middle of the week, and cheaper to book at least 3 weeks ahead of time, preferably more.

Traveling April 11-13th...dates are pretty much set because I'm a student & work can't go during the week. The cheapest price I found was for Delta @ $375...any other website/carriers I should try?
