Question about Military Space A travel

Question about Military Space A travel?
Ok I have a question we are active duty military stationed in Germany and I have two stepsons who we want to come visit in the summer time. My question is can my husband and I ( or just my husband) take a space A flight to San Antonio,Tx to pick them up and take them back to Germany on a Space A flight? They are his dependents and have military ID's and passports. Also when taking them back can I got by myself on space A to drop them back off or does my husband have to be with us ( He is the actual Active duty member)? Thank you for Any information.

Yes, hubby can fly back, get them, and do the same again when it is time to go. And, as military on leave it puts him higher on the wait list. The down side is that he can't sign up until he is on leave. For spouses, you must have a letter from his commander authorizing you to fly, and the boys can only fly with their sponsor. Just be aware.... flights during the summer fill up very fast. Active duty in orders and DODEA teachers on summer break have priority. I've known lots of folks that have ended up paying full price for last minute tickets because of school timelines. Also, with the situation in Japan and Libya, much of the AF cargo fleet is otherwise occupied. We have folks deployed who are being put on hold for returning due to cargo aircraft availability.

usafbrat is correct. You are allowed to use Space A travel. The summer time and holiday seasons are the worst time trying to get Space A. I was stationed in K-town so i know you are flying out of Ramstein. I took a couple of flights from there and one time i had to wait 2 days. As the AF becomes busy with support missions the less space will be available for passengers. What the Commercial Airlines should make is special fares for Military Personnel stationed overseas. below find the Space A link. http://militaryliving.com/spacea/index.html

Will Continental Airlines forward a message to girl I sat next to for me

Will Continental Airlines forward a message to girl I sat next to for me?
Hey everyone, last week (Wednesday) I took a flight to San Antonio, TX from Houston and sat next to cute girl who I talked with and was going to give her my email when walking out of the lounge area after the flight but ended up missing my chance. So know I've been beating myself up for messing up like that since I would really like to be friends with her, so my question is will Continental pass my name and email or phone # onto this girl saying I'm trying to get in contact?, I'm not asking for her info. just for them to send mine to her. All I really know about the girl too is that her name is Lindsay and she lives in San Antonio, Texas, thanks, Chris Tara, ya I had asked her if she has a facebook and she said no, I should have given her my info. right when I was talking to her

Sorry, but they won't do that
2 :
She most likely has a facebook, so refine your search engine and maybe you will find her! ;)
3 :
No, unfortunately they will not do that. It would be too much trouble. Hear about this kind of story all the time. One of my friends met his girlfriend that way. But you won't mess up next time; always good to learn from.

Nope, sorry, Continental Airlines doesn't run a missed connection service; although, this type of question comes up often enough that it seems the airlines could squeeze even MORE money out of people if they offered such a service. Try Craigslist missed connections or something of that sort.

You could probably get off but your stored luggage won't get off with you. It will be tagged to go to your destination city/airport (Orange County).
2 :
It depends on how long your layover is, and if you have to change airplanes. Most often on layovers you will be exiting the plane and boarding a different one. Though you should not leave the airport.
3 :
You can however the rest of your ticket will become invalid and your luggage will still go to your original destination.
4 :
yeah but bring your luggage carry-on.. you don't want to lose it!!!
5 :
If you're traveling on a one way ticket and don't have any check in luggage you can do it. But if you have you have a round trip flight all remaining legs will be cancelled if you miss any of your connections.

Timing - San Jose airport to Manuel Antonio on SANSA

Timing - San Jose airport to Manuel Antonio on SANSA?
Our flight is due to land in Santa Maria International airport at 12:30 p.m. The flight from San Jose to Quepos (SANSA) is 2:10 p.m. We are carrying on our bags, not checking, since the baggage weight max on Sansa is 27 lbs. Will we make our 2:10 p.m. SANSA flight?

yes, it wont take you more than 1 hr tops to go trhu customs, even less since you are carrying bags. ask the people at taca counter for help and they will gladly direct you to the domestic station which is right next to the international terminal.

A hour and a half? personally, that is cutting it very tight. All it takes is a delay and you will miss your flight, not counting I have spent almost 2hrs waiting to go through customs, that normally takes no longer then 1 hr as the one answer said. However, SANSA has a lot of flights that goes to Quepos, so if you do miss your flight, you are sure to get on the next one, so don/t worry about it - just one of those things you can laugh about later ;-)
