Best airline for London?
I'm planning a trip to London this coming Spring Break (March) and I'm looking at airline prices. The cheapest I found was US Airways but I've heard such negativity about them that I wonder if I should take that chance. Granted every airline has its share of complaints. The flight would be from San antonio TX to Charlotte NC then Gatwick. Should I take this flight? For 50 dollars more, I can get continental airlines to London Heathrow. Trust US airways or not? (Virgin Atlantic is not available in my state). And will fares continue to rise? I cannot book until Jan.

i would go with the flight if its the cheapest...personally...but there are several factors to consider...the fares might go up...but just book asap I personally perfer to fly into london heathrow...because you can take the tube directly into the city...it costs about 8bucks and is fast and easy...just make sure you can easily carry your bags (you wont have to life them for long...but you will need to manuver them...maybe take them up stairs from gatwick you will have to take rather a bus or a train...which prolly isin't worth 50 bucks by any means...but will be more expensive and be less convienent...bus is probably cheaper...but i'd book that ahead of time...taxis are super nice but so expensive! I personally love and have always flown to london with British airways.,..there great, super realiable...with nice seats with your own personal tv and access to tons and tons of movies and shows and the ablity to pause, rewind, start over...its realllly nice...but go with the best deal for sure!

There isn't necessarily one best airline, because the prices vary often. You really just need to put your time in and do a lot of comparing. Your best bet is to check out the website BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel ticket sites, and save money. Good luck!

British Airways is the best (from Houston). You get what you pay for.
