Can anyone find a flight under $300?
I need a round-trip flight from San Antonio,TX to Albany,NY for 2-3 weeks this summer......i need it before August 9th though. I cant seem to find one for under $300....Can anyone help me and tell me any flights you find and what website?

Stay away from the discounters and try the web sites of South West and a couple of others. You usually get better prices from the airlines themselves and you have a lot more flexibility.. Good luck.

www.delta.com www.continental.com found tickets for 8/8/08 returning 8/30/07 on www.orbitz.com for$391.00 and $396.00 respectively. go directly yto airlines websites and save the fees. Don't forget this is high traveling season and less than 3 mos.

Cheap flights to Texas (San Antonio) in July?
I know its a lot to ask but i'm only 18 so Im not sure how to compare the cheapest flights. I'll do research on my own and thank you guys for helping me out. Any information is helpful, from a fellow passenger or even a pilot or travel agent! I'll be flying into San Antonio July 24th and flying out August 6th. Thank you so much! I will actually be flying out AROUND the 24th but I could fly out anywhere from July 24-27 and back anywhere from August 6-8 but I want to stay for atleast 10 days.

can I find a flight from seattle to dfw airport and then fly from san antonio to seattle?

It's called an "open jaw" ticket and they are normal. However, you have to call an airline (talk to a human) or a real travel agent to ask about prices.

Southwest has service from Seattle to Dallas Love Field Airport. They also have service from San Antonio to Seattle. Alaska Airlines has service from Seattle to DFW. You can get separate one way tickets.

american airlines have direct flights on both the routes. SEA - DFW & SAT - SEA. you can get the quote online from the home page you can pick from a return, oneway or multycity

You don't have to talk to a travel agent or airline to do this; Travelocity and Expedia let you book "multi-destination trips" I don't know what you consider cheap, but I keyed it into Expedia, using 4/27 for SEA-DFW and 5/4 for SAT-SEA, and came up with $299 Southwest shows $153 for SEA-DAL (Love Field) on 4/27 and $163 for SAT-SEA on 5/4, for a total of $316 (and two free checked bags each way).

are there any airlines that have direct flights to seattle from san antonio
are there any airlines that have direct flights to seattle from san antonio?
someone told me on the plane that alaska airlines does, but when i tried searching, this wasnt the case. is there any airlines that fly there directly from my location?

Southwest has an occasional direct flight between SAT and SEA. Their published schedule seems to change weekly and it varies from 1 day a week to 5 days a week. I am not finding anything on Alaska Airlines, though that doesn't mean they don't seasonaly fly this route, they just don't have any timetables published at the moment.

i think your friend was confusing Houston with san antiono Alaska has nonstop flighs from Seattle to Houston remember a direct flight usually mean the same plane but it will stop somewhere first

Try Orbitz or Travelocity and then compare their prices to Southwest Airlines (SWA), since SWA is generally the cheapest and they do not sell tickets on these web sites. However, without doing the leg work, I'll bet it's SWA.
